I'm thrilled to announce a new update to the "Convert JPG, PNG to WebP Pro" WordPress plugin.
Update Description for Convert JPG, PNG to WebP Pro (Version 1.1.4)

New Features and Enhancements:

1. Batch Conversion Status Display:

- Added functionality to show a detailed status of the remaining images during the batch conversion process.

- When converting images in batches, a message will now display "Batch of 3 - Remaining to convert: [remaining number]" to provide real-time feedback on the conversion progress.

Bug Fixes and Improvements:

1. Prevent Duplicate Function Declarations:

- Resolved an issue where activating both the previous (and/or free) and pro versions of the plugin simultaneously caused a fatal error due to duplicate function declarations.

2. Conversion Enablement Fix:

- Fixed a bug where the conversion process would still occur even if the "Enable WebP Conversion" setting was disabled.

3. Remaining Count Fix:

- Corrected the remaining image count calculation to ensure it displays accurately during the conversion process. Now, if fewer than 3 images are selected, the remaining count reflects the correct number, (0 zero) without showing negative values.

Code Enhancements:

1. Improved User Feedback:

- The admin page now displays a clear, visually distinct status indicator for WebP conversion (Enabled/Disabled).

- Enhanced the conversion process feedback by including a count of remaining images in batches of 3, ensuring users are well-informed about the conversion progress.

2. Secure and Efficient Coding Practices:

- Implemented nonce verification and other security best practices to enhance the plugin's robustness and security.

- Ensured proper sanitization and validation of user inputs across the plugin settings.

Instructions for Updating:

1. Deactivation of Free or Previous Version installed:

- Ensure the free (or previous) version of the plugin is deactivated before activating the PRO version to prevent any conflicts.

2. Activation and Settings:

- After activation, navigate to Settings > WebP Conversion Settings in the WordPress admin area to configure the plugin.

- Enable the "WebP Conversion" option and adjust other settings as needed.
